At Sunny Seas Scuba, our
classes have a maximum of six students, so you get a lot of individual
attention.
For your comfort and convenience, we have a large, heated pool that was
designed specifically for dive training. It is 40’ long, 20’ wide, and
10’ deep, which is more than enough room to practice your skills. In
this environment, you get the effect of diving right from the start.

Open Water Diver
is the class you’ll take first. (For more information, click
Here.) Our
classes begin every other week and meet twice a week for 2 or 3 weeks
(depending on the size of the class.) Call the shop or email us for our
current class schedule for Open Water.
After Open Water, Diver Stress & Rescue is the next course recommended
because it helps you gain confidence and become a better buddy.
You become an Advanced
Open Water Diver by accumulating 24 dives and taking 4 diving
specialties.
At Sunny Seas Scuba, we offer a number of specialties including Boat
Diving, Computer Diving, Deep Diving, Diver Stress & Rescue, Enriched
Air Nitrox, Equipment Techniques, Navigation, Night and Limited
Visibility Diving, Search and Recovery, Underwater Photography, and
Wreck Diving. Plus, we also offer Medic First Aid.
SSI Dive Control
Specialist is our initial dive leadership level, and is considered by
many as the "fun" leadership rating. It's fun and satisfying because you
can do more than any other entry-level dive leader. If your goal is to
become a scuba instructor, this course is the first step. Although Sunny
Seas Scuba does not train instructors, we can help you make the
necessary arrangements.
Our students always get a
20%
discount on equipment purchases
(except discounted
merchandise and tanks).
